The Children’s University offers children the opportunity to experience new and exciting activities they may never have dreamt of trying. We encourage youngsters to go to different schools across Portsmouth to broaden their horizons and break down barriers.
At a recent module at St Paul’s Primary, the 100 pupils came from 23 different schools! Over 600 children each half-term take up this opportunity and spend two of their Saturdays learning; time spent doing something new rather than stuck in front of the TV!
The project started in May 2002 and since then 4746 different children have attended and together they have totalled a staggering 103,657 hours of extra learning!
If you would be intrested in tutoring or assistant tutoring a group of pupils one or two Saturdays a term, give us a call on 023 9286 4121. We're always looking for new fun and funky ideas for our modules.
You can contact the Children's University by phone on 023 9286 4121, by post;
