Each Double Club goes ‘on tour’ to Fratton Park and the Study Centre where they will have an opportunity to visit the stadium and then use their experiences to produce some exciting work on the iMac computers at the Study Centre. The pupils create exciting football themed comic strips that feature themselves and also have the chance to become a match commentator.
At the end of each term, every Double Club is invited to participate in the Double Club Tournament. Venues for tournament change each term, with participating Double Club schools taking turns to host the event. The tournament gives each pupil the opportunity to show off their newly acquired skills and also the chance for families to come along and support their child.
Finally, every Double Club pupil and their family is invited to a night of celebration at Fratton Park. All students are presented with certificates of achievement and Double Club prizes by the Portsmouth Football Club's, Pompey Double Club Champion, Peter Crouch. Exceptional achievers receive additional certificates and fantastic prizes.
